A Sneak Peek At The Excitement: 1,000 Light Up The Sky
The buzz kicked off with a special press preview at the Theatre of Digital Arts (TODA), offering an exclusive glimpse into the incredible activities lined up for DSF 2024. Guests were treated to Dubai’s first-ever indoor drone show, an awe-inspiring mix of technology, visuals, and storytelling. Performed by AO Drones, this groundbreaking show featured 50 drones equipped with over 200 electric motors, creating a stunning tribute to DSF’s legacy. It’s just a taste of what’s to come – twice-daily, free-to-watch drone displays featuring 1,000 drones will illuminate Dubai’s skies throughout the festival.

Immersive Installations & Surprises
The preview also showcased a breathtaking light installation by Alsayegh, hinting at the Dubai Lights interactive displays that will transform iconic city spots into magical light districts during the festival. For car enthusiasts, the event unveiled the upcoming DSF Auto Season, a thrilling collection of automotive showcases taking place from 1 to 12 January 2025. Adding to the excitement, skincare brand Drunk Elephant surprised attendees with a playful and engaging activation.

To help festival-goers make the most of their experience, DFRE launched the new DSF Map – a digital guide that’s as innovative as the festival itself. This interactive tool allows users to explore festival highlights, plan their must-visit events, and navigate Dubai’s citywide celebrations with ease.
