6 New Paid Parking Zones Have Been Introduced In Dubai – How Much Does It Cost

There’s some good news, and there’s some bad news. I’ll start with the good news – Dubai just turned 6 popular empty sand-filled areas into spacious parking lots. And here comes the bad news – it’s going to be paid parking. While introducing more paid parking in Dubai may not be the news you were hoping for today, it’s still a big improvement for the city. So, come with me, I’ll tell you where you can find these 6 new parking spots.

Where Are The New Paid Parking Spots?

Scheduled for full completion by the end of July, these parking areas will offer over 7,000 spaces strategically placed in key locations. The areas include:

  • Jaddaf Waterfront
  • Al Sufouh Gardens
  • Arjan
  • Majan
  • Liwan 1 and 2
  • Dubailand Residence Complex

What Zones Are The New Parking Spots?

The parking spaces are divided into two zones, each with its own payment structure:

Zone A: Covers Arjan, Jaddaf Waterfront, and Al Sufouh Gardens.

  • Fees: AED 2 for 30 minutes, AED 4 for one hour, AED 8 for two hours, AED 12 for three hours, and AED 16 for four hours.

Zone B: Covers Arjan, Dubailand Residence Complex, Majan, Liwan 1 and 2, and Al Sufouh Gardens.

  • Fees: AED 3 for one hour, AED 6 for two hours, AED 9 for three hours, AED 12 for four hours, AED 15 for five hours, and AED 20 for 24 hours.

Operating Hours & Payment Methods

Parking fees apply from 8 am to 10 pm, Monday through Saturday. Payments can be made via SMS, WhatsApp, or the RTA App, similar to other parking systems in Dubai. Alternatively, you can pay at the parking machine using cash, a card, or a NOL card.
