All The Dubai’s RTA Changes You Need To Know In Line With The New Weekend

According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), public transportation timetables in Dubai will be changed to fit with the UAE’s new workweek. The new regulations will go into force on January 3, 2022.

The Dubai Metro:

The Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines will be operational from 5 a.m. until 1:15 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The Metro will be open from 5 a.m. until 2:15 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Metro will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and finish at 1:15 a.m. the following day.

The Dubai Tram:

The Dubai Tram will run from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Saturday. It will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m. on Sunday (the next day).

Paid Public Parking System: 

There will be no modifications to charged public parking systems (until further announcement), thus no costs will be charged on Fridays and national holidays. The Floating Bridge’s closing times will be altered beginning February 2, 2022. It will go from 10 p.m. on Saturday until 6 a.m. on Monday.
