Airbnb landlords in Dubai near the Burj Khalifa can earn about an average of AED 4,200 each night, making Dubai the most profitable Airbnb city in the entire world. According to a new poll, Dubai is the most lucrative Airbnb city, followed by Hilo, Hawaii, and Hanoi, Vietnam.

The most costly Airbnb location in the world was downtown Dubai near the Burj Khalifa, followed by New York and Edinburgh, Scotland. Airbnbs in New York is the most expensive, with those near Central Park costing £767 a night. Landlords can still profit if they have a house further away, as the going rent is £534 per night. As a result, New York City as a whole is the most profitable destination for Airbnb landlords.
“Dubai is the most profitable location for landlords as it takes just four months for them to earn their money back after investing in a property,” said CIA Landlords who led the survey. “The average price to buy an apartment in the city is £112,624, meaning just 121 nights need to be sold for this cost to be earned back. However, this is only a profitable location for landlords who have a property near Burj Khalifa, as those further away rent for just £181 per night.”
