The news has been abuzz with the return on Covid-19 amid the recent surge of Coronavirus infection in various countries including China, Japan, South Korea, France, and the United States. Here are the new updated UAE to India Covid rules for all passengers travelling. The rules came into effect on 24th December.

The advisory by Air India Express read, “Children under 12 years of age are exempted from post-arrival random testing. However, if found symptomatic for COVID-19 on arrival or during the period of self-monitoring, they shall undergo testing and be treated as per the protocol.”
According to an official statement from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), passengers will be identified by the airline and allowed to leave the airport after providing a sample for testing. If the test results are positive for Covid-19, the passenger will be isolated and their sample will be sent for genome sequencing.
