World’s First Candy Museum To Officially Open In Dubai This Month!

Dubai is about to get a whole lot sweeter! If you’ve been keeping up with Gulf Buzz, you’ll know last month we dropped the news that Dubai is getting the world’s first candy museum. And now, we finally have an opening date – mark your calendars for Friday, October 31st! Get ready to explore a sugary paradise that’ll have you leaving with more than just a sweet tooth. You’re about to dive into a candy wonderland filled with colourful treats and delightful experiences. Come with me, and I’ll take you through all the sugary delights you can expect to find and how to secure your tickets!

What Can You Look Forward To?

The museum is a sugary adventure split into 6 different zones, with over 15 uniquely themed rooms. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s waiting for you:

  • Gummy Bear Pool: Imagine diving into a pool of gummy bears! This sugary oasis invites you to indulge in candy delights while being surrounded by colourful, floating treats.
  • Louvre of Lollies: Experience a candy-themed tribute to Paris! Stroll through this enchanting zone that brings the sweet charm of the City of Lights to life.
  • Night in Paris: Feel the magic of Parisian delicacies under starlit skies. Every bite here takes you on a journey through French culinary wonders.
  • Fairy Floss: Enjoy the light, airy goodness of fairy floss (cotton candy) that melts in your mouth with a swirl of sweetness.
  • Chill and Thrill: Step into a frozen paradise, where every scoop of ice cream is pure bliss and brings you that “chill” excitement.
  • Lettergram: Let your imagination run wild in this playful world where candy and letters combine in creative, interactive ways.
  • Candy Paradise: This zone is exactly what it sounds like – a fantastical land packed with candy, colourful surprises, and sweet creations that will spark joy and wonder.

When Can You Get Tickets?

Although the opening date is set, tickets aren’t available just yet. But you can still be the first to know when it’s out – just join their waitlist! Till the prices are out, I’ll tell you what kind of ticket options are available – General Admission, VIP Tickets, and Group Tickets. Head up, if you go VIP, you’ll enjoy priority entry, private assistance, exclusive gifts, and a luxury candy experience that’s unlike anything else!

Museum Hours & How to Get There

The Candy Museum will be open from 10 AM to 10 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 10 AM to midnight from Friday to Sunday. Keep in mind that the last admission is one hour before closing.

Located on Umm Hurair Road, Dubai, the museum is next to Tawjeeh Centre and across from Jam Sports Academy. If you’re driving or taking a taxi, simply follow directions on Google Maps. However, Careem Maps doesn’t have the location yet, so plan accordingly.

Coming by public transport? Here’s how to get there:

  • Take the Dubai Metro Red Line to Max Metro Station, then it’s just a short walk to Max Metro Bus Stop Landside 2. From there, hop on bus 27 heading toward Gold Souq Bus Station, and get off at Umm Hurair, Road 2. The museum is just a 2-minute walk away.
  • If you’re on the Green Line, stop at Oud Metha Metro Station and take an 11-minute walk to the museum.

Prepare for a 60-90 minute adventure through vibrant, candy-filled rooms! And yes, the candy is real. You’ll find candy stations with handcrafted treats, plus a Cotton Candy Bath and the chance to dive into a Gummy Bear Pool – literally! Don’t forget to swing by the Instagram-worthy café for candy-flavoured milkshakes, ice creams, and all kinds of sweet snacks. Whether it’s candy to eat or drinks to sip, this café has it all, including candy to-go!
