Getting Started: The Saudi eVisa Platform

You can apply for the Saudi eVisa online, thanks to the unified visa platform at ksavisa.sa. This online portal simplifies the process for UAE and other GCC residents.

Essential Requirements

To be eligible, you’ll need:

  • UAE Residency: Valid for at least three more months.
  • Passport: Must be valid for a minimum of six months.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants should be 18 or older if applying without parents.

Documents Checklist

Gather these key documents before you begin:

  • A recent passport-style photo (white background required).
  • A copy of your passport.
  • A copy of your UAE residence visa page.

Step-By-Step Application Process

Step 1: Begin Your Application on ksavisa.sa

  1. Visit ksavisa.sa and select “Visit.”
  2. Set Tourism as your reason for visiting.
  3. Choose your Nationality and GCC Residency.
  4. Click Show Eligible Visas, and under the “eVisa” option, select Apply Now.

Step 2: Enter Travel Details

Provide essential travel information:

  • Expected Arrival Date: Indicate when you plan to enter Saudi Arabia.
  • Country of Residence: Confirm your current residence.
  • Nearest Embassy: Select either Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

(Optional: You can add your mode of transportation and point of entry, but it’s not required.)

Step 3: Provide Personal Details & Upload Photo

This section requires:

  • Full Name (as per passport), Mobile Number, and Address.
  • Gender, Marital Status, and Occupation (optional).
  • Photo Upload: Submit a recent, passport-sized photo with a plain background.

Photo Guidelines:

  • Dimensions: 35x45mm, high-quality PNG or JPEG format, max 5MB.
  • Face forward, with a neutral expression, closed mouth, and no shadows.

Step 4: Add Passport Information

Here, you’ll:

  • Upload a scanned copy of your passport.
  • Select passport type and enter the passport number.
  • Specify the country of issue, place of birth, and issue and expiry dates.

Step 5: Enter UAE Residency Visa Information

Upload and enter details for your UAE residency:

  • Digital copy of your residency visa (for help, follow instructions on ksavisa.sa).
  • Visa Number, Expiry Date, Emirate, and Residence Address.

Step 6: Confirm Terms and Review Your Information

Carefully review all your details, agree to the terms and conditions, and then continue to the next step.

Step 7: Choose Medical Insurance

The application will prompt you to select a medical insurance provider from a list. Prices are shown alongside each option.

Step 8: Finalize and Pay

You’re almost there! Once you’ve selected your insurance provider, you’ll see the total cost for your eVisa, including insurance. Choose Pay Now and complete the transaction with a credit or debit card. You’ll receive a transaction number to check your application status anytime.

Visa Costs For GCC Residents

  • Visa Fee: $81 (approx. AED 297.48)
  • Application Fee: $10.50 (approx. AED 38.50)
  • Medical Insurance: Ranges from $7.50 (AED 27.54) to $252.04 (AED 925.65), depending on your choice of provider.

When Will You Receive Your eVisa?

Typically, GCC residents receive the eVisa almost instantly, but the process can take up to 3 working days. Once your application is approved, the eVisa will be sent to you via email.
