A 70-year-old lady was apprehended at Dubai International Airport with 8.3kg of narcotics. Customs officers discovered almost 8kg of crystal meth in the Central American woman’s bag. The medicines were tightly packaged in carbon paper and packed into the suitcase’s corners.

The woman had requested that her luggage be delivered to her lodging while she was en route on her trip to another nation. However, during a check, customs authorities discovered the narcotics and detained the lady.
According to Ibrahim Al Kamali, Director of Dubai Customs’ Passenger Operations Department, personnel are educated to thwart smuggling efforts in conformity with worldwide best practices.
