A Collab You Probably Didn’t Expect, Adidas Launches A Collection With Dubai’s OG Ravi Restaurant

All foodies in the UAE have for sure tried delicious food from Ravi Restaurant! Here is something even more exciting for you! Adidas is going the extra mile and collaborating with the famous Ravi Restaurant. We all know how much Dubai people love sneakers, so here is a sneak peek of Adidas’ collaboration with Ravi Restaurant. Adidas has released a limited-edition SUPERSTAR RAVI shoe to honour community-focused eateries around the world.

In Dubai, the collaboration emphasises Ravi restaurant, one of the city’s most sentimental and culturally significant eateries, which has long served both ex-pat & Emirati diners. This release will be available from June 23rd only in some selected stores in Dubai & online. It is part of a series of 11 sneakers honouring legendary eateries from 11 different locations across the world.

The special edition SUPERSTAR RAVI colourway, which is a twist on the Adidas Original Superstar, features a custom sock liner with a hand-drawn map design that represents the meaning of the name Ravi, which means “river” in Northeastern Pakistan, and a custom sock liner with a hand-drawn map design that represents the meaning of the name Ravi, which means “river” in Northeastern Pakistan. On both shoes, the heel tab branding displays the year Ravi started, as well as the name in English and Arabic. The restaurant owners hand-picked six items to be placed on the tongues of the sneakers, which are printed in English on one side and Arabic on the other, and each pair is packaged in a limited-edition takeaway box.
