Weekends in Abu Dhabi just got a whole lot more colourful – Welcome to the brand-new Lammah Al Bahr! Translated as “Gathering by the Sea,” this FREE to enter festival will take place at the picturesque Al Mugheirah Beach in Al Dhafra until June 2025. And the best part? It’s completely free to enter! A Festival For Every Kind Of Person

Lammah Al Bahr offers a unique mix of beach adventure, cultural experiences, shopping, and live entertainment, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Arabian Gulf. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, you’re in for a treat. The festival features zip-lining, beach volleyball, padel tennis, and even an aqua park! For those who prefer a slower pace, you can grab a sunbed at the beach club and enjoy a relaxing day by the sea.

A Foodies Paradise

No festival is complete without great food, and Lammah Al Bahr doesn’t disappoint. The food park is packed with mouthwatering options, from sizzling grilled meats to fresh seafood and sweet treats. Craving some Emirati flavours? What about some delicious street food from around the World? You’ll find it all at Lammah Al Bahr!

Stepping Back Into The Past

Lammah Al Bahr also takes a deep dive into Abu Dhabi’s rich maritime heritage. The heritage zone offers live pearl diving, dhow sailing, and traditional fishing demonstrations, along with hands-on workshops that bring the region’s history to life. Over at The Art Haus gallery, you’ll find stunning art installations and craft exhibitions showcasing local talent.

Your New Weekend Wonder In Abu Dhabi

You can visit Lammah Al Bahr for FREE on Fridays from 5 PM, Saturdays & Sundays from 10 AM at Al Mugheirah Beach, Al Dhafra. Earlier I mentioned that the festival will only be open until June 2025, but here’s the catch – the goal is to transform Al Mugheirah Beach into a permanent hub for culture, adventure, and entertainment.
