AED 500 Coin Revealed By The UAE To Mark The Golden Jubilee Year

The UAE has unveiled an AED500 coin, which for sure is one of a kind. To commemorate the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, a commemorative AED500 coin has been produced. The face of the high-value coin shows Qasr Al Watan, the Palace of the Nation. The back has the Year of the 50th logo. The coin “embodies the Ministry of Presidential Affairs’ alignment with the country’s pioneering achievements and initiatives” as well as its “quest to build a prosperous economy”. This coin is a heavy one, it weighs about 250g! Unfortunately, the coin will not be available for purchase at the Central Bank’s headquarters or any of its branches.
