Ain Dubai Spotted Moving, With New Ticket Office In Wharf Mall, Bluewaters Island – Will It Reopen?

If you remember what Dubai was like before Bluewaters Island was sitting on the dazzling Dubai coastline, then you’ve definitely been in this city for a while. As we all know, Dubai is home to the largest Ferris Wheel in the world – Ain Dubai – what we don’t know is why it stopped working and if it will ever start working again. But I think I just uncovered the answer to the latter! The 250 meters tall Ain Dubai, has been closed since March 2020 with zero access to the general public. However, some recent developments are making curious residents believe that the Ain is ready to spring back to life very soon! I have all the deets you need to know, so keep reading to find out.

A Trail Of Clues… Leading To A Comeback?

If you’ve been near or in the eyesight of Ain Dubai recently, you might have noticed something intriguing – the wheel is moving again! But you’ll need some very sharp eyes to see these rotations because they are super slow and minimal. This leads us to our second clue – a new ticket office has appeared at The Wharf Mall on Bluewaters Island, which wasn’t there before! Although this alleged ticket office is boarded up for now, there is ‘Ain Dubai’ branding and signage all over the place. These subtle clues have been enough to reignite speculation in residents that ticket sales for the reopening for Ain Dubai is underway.

What Officials Are Saying?

While the signs of activity are promising, there’s still no official word on the reopening date. Ain Dubai’s management reiterated through their website that enhancement works are ongoing. Their statement highlights a commitment to delivering a refreshed and unparalleled experience, with more details promised as soon as a reopening date is confirmed in the (near?) future.

Hope On The Horizon

So, sadly, these clues don’t confirm that a functioning Ain Dubai is returning to the city, but they do give us hope that we’ll one day soon see it spinning at full capacity, bringing residents and tourists alike stunning aerial views of Dubai, along with lots of new and exciting offers! If you’re as hopeful as I am that Ain Dubai will be rolling its wheels again, stay tuned to Gulf Buzz, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with all the latest news!
