China is making travel even easier for visitors from the UAE, Qatar, and 52 other countries. The National Immigration Administration (NIA) has just announced that its 144-hour visa-free transit policy now includes three additional entry ports. New Visa-Free Entry Ports In China
The newly added ports are:
- Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in Henan Province, central China
- Lijiang Sanyi International Airport in Yunnan Province, southwest China
- Mohan Railway Port, also in Yunnan Province
Exploring Henan & Yunnan Visa-Free
From now on, eligible foreign nationals can enter China via the Zhengzhou aviation port without a visa, though they must stay within Henan Province. Meanwhile, those entering through Yunnan’s visa-free ports have expanded options. Previously limited to Kunming, they can now explore nine city or prefecture-level areas, including Kunming, Lijiang, Dali, and Xishuangbanna.

Who Can Enjoy The Visa-Free Policy?
This 144-hour visa-free policy is available to travellers from 54 countries, allowing for short-term visits for tourism or business. The eligible countries include:
- Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Monaco, and Belarus.
- Asia: South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, UAE, and Qatar.
- Americas: United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile.
- Oceania: Australia and New Zealand.
