UAE will be soon testing cloud seeding drones to boost rain in the country. The National Centre of Meteorology has been conducting tests in America to check the performance and effectiveness of these drones. The UAE has been cloud seeding since the 90s and it is said to boost rainfall from a cloud by 35%.

These drones have worked very well in America, they are now being shipped to the UAE. The process of cloud seeding is very simple. Cloud seeding drones fire salt into the clouds. These salt particles the attract water. Water particles collide with each other which results in a rain shower.
