Just a few days left for this much-awaited cycling event to start. The Sharjah International Cycling Tour is a pleasant and well-known event that has been going on for a long time! Between January 28 and February 1, 2022, cyclists will compete in a five-stage cycling road race that will take them across the Emirate of Sharjah, spanning roughly 500 kilometres. Cyclists journey through a range of remarkable tourist locations that blend ancient history, culture, and current urban monuments!
Stage 1 – Al Mamzar
Stage 2 – University City Sharjah
Stage 3 – Al Suhub Rest Area
Stage 4 – Al Badayer Oasis
Stage 5 – Al Rafisah Dam
UCI Professional Continental teams, continental teams, national teams, regional or club teams are all eligible to compete. On Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m., the race headquarters will be open at Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre – Sharjah. On January 27, 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm, team representatives are expected to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers and time transponders at the event headquarters. Prize money totalling € 99999 (AED 416,787.67) will be awarded at the competition!
