The Timings for School Hours During Ramadan
The KHDA has released a circular regarding the updated school timings for Ramadan. As per the latest announcement, schools should provide a maximum of five hours of instruction time. This is to ensure that students have enough time to rest and observe the holy month. Schools must end instruction on Fridays by 12:00 noon to accommodate Friday prayer. Fasting students are exempt from participating in PE classes, if requested. Homework and revision expectations are also to be reconsidered and lowered.
