Nara Desert Escapes, the award-winning team behind the world-famous Sonara Camp, is preparing to unveil The Nest, a brand-new camping experience. The Nest, as unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market, is marketed as an exclusive, one-of-a-kind, and environmentally responsible overnight experience. Guests will reside in individual ‘nests’ imagined and constructed by architect Gianni Ranaulo.
Each ‘nest’ is outfitted with a lovely bedroom, private en-suite bathroom, outdoor majlis, and your own devoted Mudeef to ensure you have the most unforgettable vacation imaginable. The 14 Sonara desert nests will be naturally integrated into the Arabian Desert, nestling gently amid the dunes of the neighbouring Dubai Conservation Reserve. Guests will be able to reserve their experience closer to the debut date, which is scheduled for September 2022. The cost of the experience has yet to be determined.
Guests will be greeted with a welcome drink and nibbles before being encouraged to munch on Chef Franck Sanna’s handpicked tapas menu while sipping on their choice from the complimentary mini-bar. Syrian olives, pickles, and tapenade are served in exquisite pastry flutes, as well as dishes of gourmet delicacies crafted from the best locally produced veggies and fish. Aside from the gastronomical excursion, guests here can spend the evening at neighbouring Sonara Camp, where they can enjoy sunset and dinner via the specialised sand shuttle.
