Open since 2007, Dubai Festival City Mall (DFC) has gone through numerous renovations, from opening its gorgeous seaside view of the Burj Khalifa to its fabulous dancing fountain and fire show. They come back better than before each time. And this time, DFC plans to welcome Middle East’s largest licensed Food hall, ‘Market Island’. Here is everything we know about their new project.

What Should We Expect From Market Island?
Market Island, which covers 70,000 square feet, will feature 53 unique culinary concepts and a wide variety of cuisines from around the world.
It will open in December 2023 and be situated on the ground floor of the mall’s north side. The food hall, which can accommodate over 3,500 people, will have a variety of food stations, designated dining areas, bars, and lounges.
In addition to offering a unique dining experience, the Market Island will serve as a tourist and entertainment hub where guests can take in live performances and DJ sets by local artists.

The Zemskiy Group, a Russian real estate firm, is the source of Market Island. The group introduces its F&B concept in the UAE at Dubai Festival City Mall after completing over 150 projects in 16 cities around the world.
There are already a few authorised venues in the Dubai Festival City area, including Sayf, Helipad by Frozen Cherry, and others.
