Offences Requiring AN AED 10,000 Confiscation Fee:

1. Driving a vehicle without license plates.
2. Evading the police.
3. Exceeding the permitted tint percentage for vehicle windows or tinting the front windshield without authorisation.
4. Organising gatherings of drivers to watch races or participate in chaotic activities, or showcasing vehicles on the road.
5. Making significant modifications to a vehicle resulting in increased speed, noise, or disturbances during operation or driving.

Offences Requiring An AED 50,000 Confiscation Fee:

1. Deliberately colliding with a police vehicle or intentionally causing damage to it.
2. Allowing a person under 18 years old to drive a vehicle.
3. Driving a vehicle with a fake, forged, obscured, or unlawfully used number plate.
4. Reckless driving or driving in a manner that endangers lives or property.
5. Jumping a red light.
6. Riding recreational motorcycles on paved roads.

What Conditions Do I Have To Meet To Regain Possession Of My Confiscated Vehicle?

1. Payment of all fines associated with the vehicle as recorded in the traffic file.
