Dubai’s Metro Music Festival is coming back! From September 21 to 27, five major metro stations will transform into lively music hubs filled with captivating performances from 20 talented musicians. Whether you’re commuting or just passing through, these stations will be buzzing with music and energy. Come with me, and I’ll give you all the jazzy details you need to know.

When & Where To Catch The Action?
Daily performances will take place between 5 pm and 10 pm at five key locations:
- Dubai Mall metro station
- Mall of the Emirates metro station
- BurJuman metro station
- Union metro station
- Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) metro station
The performances will rotate across these stations throughout the week, so each stop will get its share of the musical magic.

Musicians from the UAE and across the globe will be showcasing their creativity, playing a wide range of instruments and styles. Instruments From Around The World
This year, musicians will play an array of fascinating instruments like the Qanun, keyboard, accordion, flute, violin, saxophone, piano, balafon, darbuka, and marimba. You’ll also see performances featuring the electric guitar, pipe drum, hand pans, and even homemade instruments, offering an exciting variety of sounds.
Standout Performances
Look forward to unique performances that set this festival apart from previous years. Highlights include a nine-year-old prodigy on the Qanun, a piano performance by a 14-year-old Emirati boy with autism, and a showcase of instruments made from recycled materials. There will also be beatboxing, a puppet show with live music, and drumming performances with eye-catching light effects.
