This innovative technology, being developed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), in collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE, will link your palm directly to your Nol card.
The goal behind the palm ID technology is to enhance the convenience and speed of services in Dubai. Once your palm is registered, all you have to do is hover it over a sensor, and the fare will be automatically deducted from your Nol balance. Commuters will no longer have to fumble for their Nol cards or phones – making your journeys faster and more seamless.

Showcased At Gitex Global 2024
The palm ID system was just showcased at Gitex Global 2024, giving the public a preview of what’s to come.
