After being named as one of the most Instagramable destinations in the world, Dubai is now one of the best Airbnb destinations globally. It is a fun experience to book an apartment, room or homestay. Its a better alternative than spending at a hotel and its kind of the trend now a days. And what could be a better solution than an Airbnb?
Due to the travel restrictions caused by the Pandemic, the number of Airbnb rentals has dropped down drastically since 2019. The revival of these rentals are actively underway.
Abu Dhabi signed a deal with Airbnb earlier this year to promote the holiday home sector. Under the agreement, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Airbnb will collaborate to help grow and develop the sector for guests looking for something other than traditional hotels.
According to a report by Inkifi, Dubai has 15,984 active Airbnb listings, making it one of the cities with the most choice for travelers and tourists as of July this year. Dubai has made it at #10 on this list, with London being at #1 with 34,135 active listings.
