Starting September 30, drivers in Dubai will need to be aware of new speed limits on 2 major roads. The RTA and Dubai Police have announced adjustments on parts of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Al Amardi Street. Keep reading to find out what the new speed limits will be.

New Speed Limit On Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street
One of the significant changes will be on Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street. The speed limit between Dubai Al Ain Road and Academic City Roundabout will be raised to 100km/h. Further down the road, from Academic City Roundabout to Al Khawaneej Street, the limit will be set to 90km/h.

New Speed Limit On Al Amardi Street
Al Amardi Street will also see a change. The speed limit on the stretch between Al Khawaneej Street and Emirates Road will be standardised to 90km/h. These updates aim to create consistency and improve traffic flow along the route.

New Traffic Signs & Markings
To help drivers stay informed, the RTA is preparing to update traffic signs and road markings on these roads. These changes will clearly indicate the new maximum speed limits, making it easier for everyone to adjust to the upcoming regulations. The new speed limits will be enforced from Monday, September 30th onwards. Drive safe and responsibly, everyone!
