What’s Happening In Al Jaddaf
At Al Jaddaf, Al Khail Road has undergone a transformation, with an extra 600 meters added to accommodate a sixth lane. This expansion is a strategic move to improve traffic flow towards Deira, a busy part of Dubai. With this addition, the road’s capacity is expected to increase by around 2,000 vehicles per hour, leading to a 25% reduction in congestion.
What’s Happening In Business Bay
The entrance to Business Bay has also seen an upgrade, with a new 435-meter lane added to Al Khail Road. This development is particularly aimed at enhancing traffic safety for those travelling towards Abu Dhabi.
What’s Next?
This milestone marks just one part of the larger Al Khail Road Improvement Project. The project includes plans for constructing bridges spanning over 3,000 meters, making it easier for people to move between different parts of the city. More developments are expected to be completed later this year, promising even more enhancements to Dubai’s roads.
