This weekend, Metacon, a one-of-a-kind event integrating blockchain gaming, eSports, NFTs, and technology, will be held in Dubai. This event will take place on May 28th and 29th (Saturday & Sunday) in the Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre. Each ticket costs AED 100 and includes a Metacon One NFT Token, which allows attendees to have constant access to unique NFT drops, satellite events, opportunity to network with other Metaverse fans and industry leaders, and more at Metacon.
The four zones of Metacon are Meta Stage, Meta Arena, Meta Connect, and Meta Spaces. Dr Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of the Dubai Blockchain Centre, and Jason Brink, President of Blockchain at Gala Games, will be among the speakers at the event. Meta Connect: A secondary stage that will feature live demos, workshops and panels by local and international brands that are changing the landscape of various genres of popular culture in a web 3.0 world.
Meta Arena: A regional first with esports tournaments of some of the top blockchain gaming titles where you can watch guilds from across the world battle it out for a chance to win from the cash prize pool.
Meta Spaces: An Expo zone with a festival vibe – get a hands-on experience of brands and projects that are shaping the future of popular culture with blockchain technology, web 3.0 and the metaverse.
