Who doesn’t want to get a little messy with paint sometimes, and who said arts and crafts are only for kids? We all deserve a well-earned break every now and then, and just because we’re adults doesn’t mean we need to do boring things like sit at coffee shops and talk about our finances. We have just found one of Dubai’s latest new art studios that is surely going to knock your socks off when you see what they have to offer. We checked it out for ourselves and here is everything that we thought of it.

What Is Mofun Studios?
Mofun Studios Arts & Crafts DIY is Dubai’s latest addition to its creative art scene. The new studio opened early this year and has already made much noise around the city. Offering a wide selection of activities, such as paint-by-number canvases, mosaic art, button badge creation, creating fuse beads and many more amazing things. Located in Jumeirah, Mofun Studios has placed itself in a prime location to the centre of attention for any resident or visitor going around the area. This place is definitely a must-add to your summer bucket list.
What Did We Think Of The Experience?
We here at Gulf Buzz went over to Mofun Studios ourselves and tried out some of their most iconic art activities. This included rug tufting, Acrylic paint pour and mosaic tile art. It was truly like no ordinary art experience. The instructors were extremely professional and patient when it came time to teach us new skills. They allow for ample room to make mistakes and find your own space while doing any one of your favourite activities.
Activities We Did:
Rug Tufting
Prepare for your day to be spent at Mofun Studios because if you have chosen an activity such as rug tufting, you’re in for a long ride. Although it is definitely a timely activity, it was an incredible experience. And not only is it super fun to learn and make yourself it can also be the sweetest, most personalised gift you could make for a loved one. They have a wide selection of designs to choose from, allowing you to find something that is just the perfect fit. We had such a great time doing this, and would definitely recommend this activity if you’re someone who’s looking to learn a new skill this summer.
Acrylic Paint Pour
Now this activity is definitely for those of you who grew up finger painting. Its not exactly the same thing but the level of satisfaction you get out of water mesmerising colours pour over a beautifully crafted bears. Thats right, you get to choose from a selection of the cutest bears to become your ultimate art victim. Sorry, I meant masterpiece. And not to mention the abundance of choices they had for different coloured paint. The best part of their Acrylic paint pour is that no matter if you chose the same colours as your friends no two creations will ever come out looking the same. Making this the most unique and personalised arts and craft experience. This one definitely takes the cake for us, and was our favourite activity to do while we were there.
This definitely an experience that will make you want to go back time and time again to try out all the other activities they have to offer until you’ve ran through their whole studio.
