On 1st September 2021, the biggest underground metro station opened up in Dubai! The Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station is Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) biggest underground metro station. This station has opened earlier than expected. Route 2020 which connects Dubai Sports City, IMPZ and Dubai Production City will now have a new addition: The Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station. Talking about numbers, the station is 28,700 square metres in area and can serve up to 250,000 riders per day!
