What Is Palm Jebel Ali?

Well if you haven’t heard the news already, then you definitely need to know this. Dubai is on the verge of acquiring a sophisticated and elegant waterfront location. Covering a vast area of 13.4 sqkm, twice the size of Palm Jumeirah, the upcoming Palm Jebel Ali project will represent a significant milestone in Dubai’s development. Tweeted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the visionary development masterplan for Palm Jebel Ali received his approval, as he emphasised the continuous efforts to build the most beautiful city in the world. Dubai is already home to remarkable manmade islands such as Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali, with their distinctive palm tree-shaped archipelago design, serving as architectural wonders reclaimed from the sea.

What Should We Expect To See From Palm Jebel Ali?

The Palm Jebel Ali project aims to be smart, diverse, and sustainable. It will feature mixed-use walkable neighbourhoods, incorporating smart city technologies and sustainable practices. The project will also prioritise providing a wide range of mobility options for residents, visitors, and communities. As an environmentally conscious endeavour, up to 30 per cent of the island’s energy requirements will be sourced from renewable sources.
