Peak Hour Prices & Timing
From next month, Parkin PJSC, the privatised company that operates Dubai’s paid parking, will roll out a new variable pricing system. During peak hours – 8 AM to 10 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM – parking rates will be AED 6 per hour in premium zones, while off peak hours will remain AED 4. These charges won’t apply on weekends or public holidays, but they will make weekday parking significantly more expensive for those who rely on it daily.
Updated Parking Codes
Ahead of these changes, parking zone codes have been revised in several areas. Many residents received messages on parking apps notifying them of the updates. One such message stated:
“Please be advised that the zone codes have been updated, but the tariff pricing remains unchanged. For example, zone code ‘A’ is now ‘AP,’ and the parking fees remain the same.”
