The Yas Island Metaverse will be a full-featured ecosystem that is expected to be completed in Q1 2023.

Several entities have come together to launch Yas Island into the metaverse, namely – the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Aldar, Miral, twofour54, Abu Dhabi Motorsport, and Flash Entertainment. Yas Island Metaverse is currently in the development phase, and several metaverse platforms, like The Sandbox and Roblox are helping develop this.

Well, if the news is to be believed visitors can actually live out the full experience in the Yas Island Metaverse. Here’s what’s been revealed so far:

- Go racing at a world-class motorsport racing circuit
- Attend special events
- Golf at premier golf courses
- Attend global events
