Fazza Gold Cup: AED 1 Million Won By Emirati Teenager

The Heritage sports cup was won by an Emirati teenager who finished first in the 22nd Fazza Championship. Awad Al-Amiri of Al Ain participated with other teens in a variety of events like horse racing, rifle shooting, swimming and poetry recitals & more. He rallied from behind to take first place in the Youlah tournament.

The event took place during the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Historical Center’s 22nd Fazza Championship, which aims to conserve heritage sports in the region. Youlah, which includes spinning and tossing a replica gun, is one of the most intriguing sports. It’s a long-standing tradition in Emirati culture, with participants graded on their footwork technique & flexibility of movement.
