The pandemic is still on but Dubai is trying to stay positive. Burj Khalifa has confirmed fireworks for New Year’s Eve night! Fireworks will be accompanied by laser show to welcome 2021. Dubai is very well known for its fireworks show and this year it will be broadcasted live globally on mydubainewyear.com.
“Delivering world-class experiences is part of Emaar’s DNA and this year we will deliver an even bigger gala event,” said Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar.
“The world is facing challenges, but we are united, and we will come out of this year stronger than ever before. We want to send a message of hope, happiness and positivity into the world because that is the spirit of Dubai that we have learned from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who continues to inspire what we do with his extraordinary leadership. Here we reinvent ourselves, achieve the impossible and execute the unimaginable, and we are doing that again with Emaar NYE 2021.”
The live coverage will start at 8.30pm local time. All the preventive health measures for people watching the event in person will be taken. The area will have thermal cameras, deep cleaning will be done every few hours and social distancing is a must.
