UAE’s first medal in the Tokyo Paralympics Games 2020 was bagged by Mohammed Al Hammadi. He won the bronze medal in the T34 wheelchair event. He completed 100 meters in about 15.66 minutes. Hammadi made the UAE proud in 2012 and 2016 as well. In 2012, he won the bronze and silver medals at 200 m and 100 m respectively. In 2016, he won the gold medal at Rio Paralympics.
