The authority remains dedicated to achieving the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050, which aim to power Dubai entirely from clean energy sources by 2050.
FIVE’s Sustainability Objectives
By procuring I-RECs from DEWA, FIVE Hotels has solidified its commitment to sustainable practices and taken a significant step towards its Sustainability Objective of Vibrant Communities and Partnerships. The hotel chain’s previous year’s accomplishments speak volumes, with reductions in carbon use intensity by over 76.2%, electricity consumption by 35.3%, and water use by 36.2%. FIVE’s active participation in global sustainability initiatives, such as being a signatory to the UN Global Compact and a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), further showcases its dedication to environmental stewardship.
Collaborative Innovation For Sustainable Development
Kabir Mulchandani, Chairman and Founder of FIVE, emphasized the collaborative nature of their achievement.
