The Volar eVTOL flying car, which can travel at speeds of up to 220 kilometres per hour, will be tested in Dubai. The hypercar is designed for city travel and has a top speed of 3,000 feet. The flying car is currently being tested in Dubai. It can fly vertically and is completely electric. Bellwether Industries, a London-based start-up, is producing the vehicle. They’re also hopeful that they’ll be able to scale up the flying car beyond test flights.

They also claim that the final model will be able to carry four to five people at 3,000 feet and reach a top speed of 220 kilometres per hour. It’s intended to eventually take the place of private cars and on-demand taxis such as Uber, reducing traffic congestion. Which, as we all know, is a fantastic idea in the UAE! The future could also be right around the corner. By 2023, they expect to have a full-scale prototype ready. And they expect it to be available for purchase by 2030!
