If you’re a regular here at Gulf Buzz then you already know how much I was raving about Global Village being the place to celebrate Ramadan and it looks like Eid Al Fitr is going to be no less! Starting today, Friday, March 28th get ready for 9 days of consecutive fireworks to celebrate the first Eid of 2025! Dubai’s favourite multicultural hotspot will be buzzing with Eid-themed entertainment and immersive activities until Sunday, April 6th. I have all the fun-filled details you want to know, so keep reading to find out more!

For Shawwal 1 to Shawwal 3 (official dates to be announced after moon sighting), Global Village will be open from 4 PM to 1 AM, giving visitors extra time to soak in all the festive vibes. You can also expect the Main Stage to come alive with a vibrant mix of cultural performances, interactive entertainment, and live shows. And here’s a little surprise for you – mark your calendar for Sunday, April 6, because GV will welcome the legendary Assala Nasri for a highly anticipated musical concert that you won’t want to miss!
No Eid celebration is complete without a dazzling fireworks show, and Global Village is taking it to the next level by pulling out all the stops! For nine straight nights, from Friday, March 28 to Saturday, April 5, the sky above the park will light up with vibrant colours. During Ramadan, the fireworks will begin at 10 PM, but starting the first day of Eid, they’ll return to the regular 9 PM timing at Firework Avenue. As one of the longest consecutive fireworks displays of Season 29, this is truly a must-see experience.
Here’s your little friendly reminder: April is the last full month to enjoy Global Village before Season 29 wraps up on May 11. It may seem like there’s still plenty of time, but trust me, April is packed with exciting events across Dubai, and your weekends will fill up fast! So, don’t miss out—make sure to visit Global Village a few more times before it closes for the summer.
