Congratulations! If you’re here, that means you are part of the lucky ones who’ll get to see Coldplay perform live in Abu Dhabi for 4 nights. Now that the stress of getting tickets is out of the way, we can put our focus on everything else – which includes how to get ourselves all the way to Zayed Sports City Stadium. Sure, the concert may be in January 2025, but as my motto goes – it’s never too early to start planning. So, whether you’re taking a car, bus, plane or train, I’m here to tell you exactly how you can get to the concert if you’re coming from Dubai or Abu Dhabi!

Getting To The Stadium From Dubai
By Car
Driving from Dubai is one of the easiest options. If you’ve got a car or can hop into one of your friends/family’s car, you’re good to go! For the quickest route, take E11, which will get you to Abu Dhabi in about 1 hour and 15 minutes during non-peak hours. Want to avoid the extra expenses and skip the tolls? Take E311, and you’ll still reach your destination in roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes. The concert doors open at 5 PM, aim to leave by 3:30 PM to give yourself some buffer time in case of any unexpected delays.
By Bus
If you’re opting for the bus, you’ve got two station options in Dubai: Al Ghubaiba or Ibn Battuta Metro Bus Station 6. Buses to Abu Dhabi’s Central Bus Station leave every 20-30 minutes, with the journey typically taking around 2 hours and 20 minutes during non-peak hours. (A one-way bus ticket from Dubai to Abu Dhabi costs AED 30).
