I have all the spectacular details you want to know, so keep reading to find out more.

A Scenic Hike With Gentle Souls

Before the meal, you’ll get to embark on a breathtaking four-hour guided hike through well-trodden trails, accompanied by a herd of majestic horses. As you walk alongside these rescued animals, you’ll get the chance to truly connect with their stories – tales of endurance, survival, and newfound freedom. The hike is all about forming a bond with these incredible creatures who now get to roam in peace, thanks to the sanctuary’s non-stop efforts.

A Home-Cooked Iftar Under The Stars

After the trek, founder Yasmin Sayyed will welcome you to a vegetarian or vegan iftar, lovingly prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Expect a wholesome spread of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and nourishing dishes that complement the peaceful surroundings. All you need to do is sit back under the stars and enjoy the incredible food and company of your fellow animal lovers. Being in the presence of these gentle horses creates an atmosphere of gratitude and reflection, that’s perfect for embracing the spirit of Ramadan.

Meet The Woman Behind The Mission

Yasmin Sayyed’s journey is as inspiring as the horses she rescues. Originally from Germany, with Palestinian and Greek roots, Yasmin’s passion for animals led her to Ras Al Khaimah, where she now cares for 29 rescued horses and even a sweet donkey. What started as a single rescue in 2014 has now become a full-time mission, ensuring all the animals are well-fed, sheltered, and receive proper medical care.

How To Be A Part Of This Special Iftar

This one-of-a-kind Iftar takes place every Saturday during Ramadan and is open to those looking for an experience beyond the ordinary. Whether you’re an animal lover, an outdoor enthusiast, or simply seeking a meaningful way to break your fast, this adventure promises a Ramadan memory unlike any other.
