A Sneak Peek At Ling Ling’s Culinary Creations

I don’t want to spoil too much of the surprise for you, but you have to know some of the brilliant dishes that await you. Prepare to be tantalised by a symphony of flavours with dishes like Crispy Bee Pollen Chicken, Cha Ca Seabass, Lamb Shank Rendang, Coal Roasted Cauliflower, and so much more. Each bite is a revelation, a harmonious blend of taste, texture, and aromas. Even I, as a vegetarian, had multiple stunning options for dishes, all of which left me spellbound.

That was just a sneak peek of the dishes you’ll get to savour. Now let me tell you what your 5 courses will consist of. To begin, there is something light and salty that can be shared with the table, and then you move on to the starters. From there, you have your Makizushi course, and for your 4th course comes the mains. Saving best for last is the dessert (but don’t worry, I’ll get to this part later). And if you’re still hungry for more, Ling Ling has got you covered for that too. The menu also has a plethora of supplement add-ons that you can enjoy.

Dinner With A View Anyone?

Located on the 22nd and 23rd floors of Atlantis The Royal, Ling Ling offers more than just exceptional cuisine – it’s a feast for all your senses. My table was positioned with a straight view of the balcony, where I was able to overlook the glittering Dubai skyline, which included the enchanting glow of the Palm Jumeriah. The setting is as spectacular as the menu itself! The ambience of Ling Ling is designed to invigorate all your senses, preparing you for an evening where you feel ready to take on the world—or even another world! There is nothing stopping this from being the most perfect date night setting.

A Journey Through Asia

While drinks are not included in this offer, let me tell you why their signature cocktails are a whole other experience that you cannot miss out on. Beautifully explained by an exceptional waitress, Moe Sander, the signature drinks follow Madame Ling Ling’s journey through Asia. Her fictitious voyage starts at the Palm Jumeriah in Dubai, and from there, we can see Madame Ling Ling make her way through various East-Asian cities, bringing you unique and delicious creations. Each drink tells a story of its own, encapsulating the essence of the places they originated. I tried their signature cocktails from Furano – Japan, and Penang – Malaysia, and they were nothing short of decadent. The flavours and aromas complement the dishes from the menu seamlessly, making this the ultimate dinner experience.

Say Hello To Paradise

As all great meals do, the 5-course menu concluded with a showstopping dessert. This was by far my favourite dish of the night (but that’s just because of my big sweet tooth). So what’s for dessert, you ask? ‘Coconut in Paradise’ AKA a teleportation device that will transport you to the sandy shores of a remote beach island. This is exactly what eating this dessert felt like; the tangy passionfruit & mango sorbet paired with the exotic composite and coconut dacquoise was a melt-in-your-mouth experience I’ll never forget. But if you don’t believe me when I say this dessert dish is an actual teleportation device, then you’ll just have to try it out for yourself.

Experience Culinary Magic At Ling Ling

While Madame Ling Ling did all the heavy lifting, my culinary journey through the 5-course menu at Ling Ling can only be described as sublime. After my spectacular dinner, I was taken on a tour of the restaurant by the ever-so-talented Renae Ellis (Guest Relations Manager at Ling Ling), and I felt right at home while talking to her. Priced at a mere AED 395 per person, starting from 6 PM onwards at Atlantis The Royal, I highly recommend taking advantage of this one-of-a-kind opportunity while you still can.
