Motorsport is said to be a manly sport. But Amna Al Qubaisi has proved otherwise. Amna Al Qubaisi is the first female Emirati racing driver, currently, she is a Formula Three driver. She is an inspiration and motivator for so many young girls out there. Amna who is the daughter of Khaled Al Qubaisi, the first Emirati to compete at Le Mans, got inspired by her own father. Her journey started when she was fourteen years old. She started kart racing and after 3 whole years of hard work, she won the UAE RMC championship.
Formula One is her ultimate goal. To the young girls, Amna says “You’ll always be underestimated, judged, and criticized, but keep moving forward and use that to prove them wrong.” A 21-year-old girl who now competes with the best people in racing, is truly a very big inspiration for many young women out there.
