According to the latest Tweet of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), 52.46% population of the UAE is now vaccinated, which is more than half! This is a major milestone for the United Arab Emirates. The UAE has now approached almost seven million vaccinations. More than 70% of people with chronic health conditions and the elderly have been vaccinated. Right now, the vaccine is available for all people in their 40s.

“These numbers reflect the tremendous efforts made by our health sector and our heroic teams to provide the utmost protection and maintain public health,” said H.E Abdulrahman Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention. “It is also an indication of the strength of the medical and health systems in the UAE. We are working hard to succeed in providing the vaccine to 100% of our people.”
