Something crazy happened during last night’s Oscar 2022 awards. Will Smith smacked Chris Rock live on the stage after a joke about Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, during the Oscars last night. ‘Jada, can’t wait for GI Jane 2,’ Chris Rock said, referring to her recent clean-shaven head. This is the result of her hair loss condition called alopecia.

Alopecia is an autoimmune disease in which rapid hair loss is seen on the head, eyelashes and eyebrows. Smith stormed the stage and performed Rock before retiring to his seat. He then screamed numerous times from the audience for Rock to ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your ****** mouth.’
Smith was soon back on stage, though, after winning the Best Actor award for his performance in King Richard. And he took use of his stage time to say sorry for his conduct. “I want to apologise to the Academy. I want to apologise to my all my fellow nominees,” he said. “Art imitates life. I look like the crazy father, just like they said about Richard Williams. But love will make you do crazy things.”
