On Tuesday, Emirates Transport (ET), the UAE’s leading provider of school transportation services, announced the opening of an online system for kids to register for the government’s school transportation service for the next academic year 2022/2023. The method was officially introduced by sending SMS messages to parents of students with a registration link via a WhatsApp chatbot service. Those interested in registering their children can do so by following a few simple steps to add the information of youngsters who want to use ET’s school bus services. Students’ parents can call the toll-free number 8006006 to get a link to the service if they did not receive the SMS.
Helal Abdul Qader Al Marzooqi, Student Registration Project Manager, ET, said: “The new system will identify the numbers and data of public school students wishing to avail school transport services, and will allow parents to register their children for this service between now and the end of July.
According to Al Marzooqi, when the required data is obtained, the request is analysed and assessed, and the most appropriate path to give the service is chosen based on the route improvement system, so that the student can profit from it.
He added: “The introduction of the new system aims to enhance the customer’s experience with the school transport service through the development of digital services associated with school transport, by collecting student data and facilitating and organising the procedures for registering them in the government school transport service.”According to Al Marzooqi, when the required data is obtained, the request is analysed and assessed, and the most appropriate path to give the service is chosen based on the route improvement system, so that the student can profit from it.
