According to the national Met department, the weather in the UAE will be chilly and gloomy on Tuesday, with a probability of rain in certain regions of the country (NCM). The weather outlook for today is partly overcast to cloudy at times, with light rain in certain locations, particularly the north and islands.
Over certain western interior areas, it will become humid at night and Wednesday morning. Winds are light to moderate, with gusts of up to 20 mph. In the Arabian Gulf, the sea will be moderate to slight, while in the Oman Sea, it will be slight. The NCM did, however, issue a high-wave warning to residents:
According to the NCM, the UAE is being influenced by an extension of an upper air low pressure from the west, accompanied by an extension of low pressure from the southwest, as well as southeasterly humid and warm winds with clouds extending from the west into the nation.
From Thursday through Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a risk of convective clouds forming over certain parts, particularly the northern, eastern, and coastal areas, followed by a rain of varying severity.
From Sunday to Tuesday, the upper low pressure will deepen, and the weather will be cloudy over most of the nation, with convective clouds, rain of varying intensity at intervals and in different areas, with lightning and thunder at times, and the possibility of hail in some areas, particularly the northern and eastern areas.
Winds will be moderate to fresh, gusting to gale force at times, sweeping dust and sand over exposed locations. The sea will be moderate, getting choppy at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, particularly when there are clouds.
