The pandemic is easing out in the UAE. With less than 100 cases in the whole country and less than 10 deaths every day, the UAE is one of the safest countries in the world, pandemic wise. Hence the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced new capacity rules for funerals, gatherings and weddings. For private gatherings, the capacity is now at 80%.

For events held at home, the guest attendance should not be more than 60. With 60 guests, 10 staff members are allowed. The people attending the must be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before the event by a UAE-recognised Covid-19 vaccine. People who are not vaccinated should present a negative Covid-19 test taken 48 hours prior to the event.
In a series of Tweets, the NCEMA said: “Over the two years of the #COVID19 crisis, the #UAEovercame the rising challenges, proving its readiness to manage the worst.” They also said: “The #UAE‘s crisis management model has become a unique example in proactive measures to avoid risks.”
