Going out for a movie with your family and friends is like the perfect bonding experience. Enjoying some soda and popcorn on a Saturday is like a recharge. So to make your experience even more memorable, Vox Cinemas in partnership with the Dubai Autism Center have introduced sensory screenings at six locations.
The six locations at which the sensory screenings have started are Yas Mall, Al Jimi Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Sharjah, City Centre Ajman and City Centre Fujairah. This screening will take place every Saturday at 12pm.
The difference between a normal cinematic experience and the one experienced at Vox Cinemas will be, the sound will be a lot less, less people will be permitted inside the theatre, trailers and pre film ads won’t be shown and the lights will not be dimmed.
These type of arrangements are specially made for children with sensory needs, so that they can feel comfortable and relaxed and enjoy a movie just like all of us. That’s not all, children below the age of 3 can book a movie ticket for free.
