New announcements regarding hygiene guidelines was announced by Sharjah Economic Department. All the new changes were put into effect on Tuesday February 9. These new guidelines are for all entertainment centres like malls, cinema halls, restaurants, etc. They are oil regards to capacity limits and safety measures.
Following are the new rules:
Cinemas: A social distance of two metres should be maintained by all individuals. The maximum capacity of the hall should not more than exceed 50 percent.
Shopping Centres: Masks and social distancing is mandatory. The capacity limit for shopping malls and centres is 60 percent.
Restaurants: All tables must be at least 2 metres apart. More than four people cannot sit on a particular table except for members of the same family.
Gyms: Maximum capacity is 50 percent and masks are mandatory.
