Sharjah’s Mleiha archaeological Centre has recently launched a new glamping experience, offering guests a unique blend of outdoor adventure and luxury. The ‘Mleiha Glamping’ features eco-friendly and modern amenities that allow visitors to spend a splendid night in the picturesque Mleiha desert.

What Can You Expect At Mleiha Glamping?
The luxurious ‘Yurt’ tents come in Standard, Family, and Deluxe Family categories and can accommodate up to two adults and two children. The glamping experience provides visitors with the opportunity to experience traditional hospitality and unique adventure experiences while learning about the rich history and culture of the region.
The glamping experience at Mleiha begins at 5 pm and ends at 10 am the following day. It combines diverse experiences of the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, starting with a Unimog shuttle service that takes guests to the campsite where they can unwind in the lounge and enjoy refreshing hot or cold beverages. The experience continues with a memorable dining experience under the stars, where guests can choose from a specially curated menu, live on-site dinner, or a barbeque of their own. Guests can also enjoy a special 20-minute stargazing session with astronomy experts during the night.

The glamping experience continues the next day with a short 4×4 ride through the Mleiha sands to catch the sunrise over the horizon, followed by a traditional picnic breakfast basket. Guests can learn about the history of the camping grounds with complimentary access to the Mleiha Museum, which is home to historical and archaeological findings dating back to the Paleolithic Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, and the pre-Islamic period.
The Mleiha Glamping experience is designed to provide guests with an unforgettable experience while also educating them about the rich history and culture of the region. The campsites are equipped with modern amenities, cozy tents, comfortable beds, and a range of activities to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
