Temperatures will continue to fall in the UAE throughout February, however, they may rise slightly in the second half of the month in some regions compared to January, according to experts. According to the NCM, the country will be hit by the passage of low pressure from the Mediterranean Sea, which will cause unpredictable weather conditions with new south winds blowing sand and dust. During this month, clouds often form over-dispersed regions, accompanied by rain at times. The largest amount of rainfall in February on record occurred in 1988 when approximately 317mm fell.
Maximum temperatures may vary from 23°C to 28°C, while lowest temperatures may range from 12.4°C to 16.1°C. According to the NCM forecast, fog or mist is anticipated to build over coastal regions. February 2021 saw the highest frequency of fog, with 18 instances of fog and four foggy days. During this month, the Arabian Gulf Region remains under the influence of the Siberian high-pressure system which results in the cold air coming from the North.
