Vietnamese Foodies, Dubai’s freshest and most genuine choice for Vietnamese cuisine, is asking all foodies to dine with them on January 31st to help them say thank you to their workers. All earnings produced on the last day of January – Lunar New Year’s Eve – excluding food expenditures, will be divided once again among the family-owned restaurant’s 70 hardworking employees.
In Vietnam, Lunar New Year is traditionally a time for family and friends to congregate, as well as a time to wish each other luck and good fortune for the next year. It is also a time when senior family members present younger family members Hong Pao, or red envelopes containing a symbolic amount of money.
According to Lily Hoa Nguyen, Owner and Executive Chef of Vietnamese Foodies, this
year’s initiative has a special meaning: “I couldn’t be prouder of my team than I am this year. Like everyone, we have faced a challenging couple of years and despite it all, my superstar team has worked diligently and professionally to serve up delicious, healthy Vietnamese food with love and care. Now, with two new outposts, Nakheel Mall and Time Out Market Dubai joining JLT and Downtown Dubai, I am inviting all our wonderful customers, new and old to join us on 31 st January to help us stay thank you to our staff.”
Regular and new customers may donate simply by dining in at one of the restaurant’s four locations on the 31st of January: JLT, Downtown Dubai, Nakheel Mall, or Time Out Market Dubai, or by ordering delivery. Those dining in or ordering on the day can expect the same delicious and authentic Vietnamese specialities that put the restaurant on the map among foodies: its signature Pho; a selection of fresh salads, signature dishes, authentic Banh Mi, as well as over 17 fresh and flavorful Vegan dishes, and the proceeds of the day will go to the staff serving them.
